Every year we enjoy a ritual of selling Christmas trees. The lot is near 44th and France in South Minneapolis' beautiful Linden Hills neighborhood. We start the process in late summer when we place our orders for the locally grown trees. Just before Thanksgiving, Ed and Ray donate the use of their trailer that we use as our cozy sales office during the season.
The day after Thanksgiving, we set up the lot. This involves unloading
all the trees, setting up a warming house for the trees, erecting and testing
all of the light lines, placing the tree stands and filling them with trees.
As soon as the lot is set up, we are open for business.

It's a lot of fun talking with the customers and sharing the Holiday spirit. We enjoy the customers we see year after year and especially wathcing the little ones grow up. And, if your kids know the seret, they just might be able to enjoy a tasty treat!
It is
also great time to get to know club members better and chat about our flying
adventures. The amount of time you work is totally voluntary as some members
sign up for a lot of hours and some choose not to work at all. It is very
gratifying to help transform each tree from a lifeless bundle to someone's
special holiday treasure.
